Meet Karen

Karen was born and raised in Summit, New Jersey, but today finds herself on the shores of Malibu, California with Malibu Kool Kat by her side. Fredrick of course, stops by from time to time.

Like Fredrick, Karen has traveled the world. She's also worked on several major motion pictures as an actress. Inspired to begin writing because of a butterfly, she believes in spreading positive messages of peace and love to the world. She's also a mother to two daughters, whom she loves with all her heart.  

And of course, the real life Malibu Kool Kat!

Malibu Kool Kat was rescued from being thrown into the forest of Calabasas, CA, where the wild coyotes roam! Luckily, Karen found out, took him home, and gave him his name. He was dirty, hungry and very scared. Karen gave him medical attention, good food, water, and most importantly, love. Now, he is a certified therapy cat. He goes to local bookstores, where children read to him and pet him (which he loves). And he shares his love, affection, and gratitude right back.

He likes short walks on a long beach, and walks on a leash. His philosophy is "live and let live". He is proof that animals have feelings, thoughts, and just want love too! The coolest of the cool, this is Malibu Kool Kat.
